Recently, after watching a series of really bad movies, The Resident turned out to be a pleasant change. Its a type of movie that you might pick up for a lazy afternoon.... the movie builds up on a theme of obsession and is packed up with nice scary moments towards the end :p Unfortunately, it doesn't have an extra ordinary story, a typical thriller movie that Iv somehow gotten used to watching and enjoy once in a while.
The story is about a young ER doctor Juliet (Hillary Swank) who finds a perfect New York apartment for herself after recently getting separated from her boy friend. The apartment has spectacular view and a handsome landlord (Jeffery Dean Morgan) who is only too ready to give her a hand in shifting into the new apartment. But as days pass by Juliet starts to get this unnerving feeling that she isn't alone in her apartment. She is being watched....
Funny but true this movie reminds me of my own occasional paranoia of being watched, when I am alone at home...:p guess i watch tooooooo many movies hehe :)
